Hello, Summer!

So… as has been the norm for me the past couple of years, my plans fell apart. Okay, maybe they just took a sudden right turn.

Self-publishing my old series is not happening. (At least not right now.) The small town series I was planning to write is not going to make it to paper either. (Also… not any time in the near future.)

I was stuck in a big way for a long time, so I made the decision to let go of all those old ideas and start fresh. It turned out to be a good decision, because my muse has returned, and she’s being both lovely and cooperative. Maybe it’s true what they say about absence making the heart grow fonder. ❤

My summer is getting busy, as usual. I’m off the night shift until July 5th. Youngest Son and Bestie for Life are both in town, and I’m so happy to be able to see them as much as I can until they both go home on the 7th. I’m going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the first time (today as a matter of fact), and I’m looking forward to that. I’ll let you know if I see anything good.

How is your summer going so far?

What’s Going On?

There’s not much to tell right now, but I wanted to post an update anyway.

At the moment I have two projects in the works. First, I am going through my Lust for Life series, making little tweaks and adjustments, shopping for line editors and cover artists, and getting it polished to self-published. As of this moment, the plan is to publish the LfL series and my Mischievous Matchmaker series as box sets.

I’m also still working on the first book of what could be the first of three three-book series of longer titles. It’s been slow going for several reasons, so please be patient with me. I’m in love with the characters, and am looking forward to sharing their stories with you as soon as I can.

And, last but not least, Happy Spring!!! I hope yours is off to a wonderful start. It’s raining love here!
